72.3 (1) No qualified health care practitioner shall give a prescription for drug, device, cosmetic, after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption,
(a) unless the prescribed requirements for drug, device, cosmetic, after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption have been satisfied, based on the best available information about its efficacy, safety and effectiveness;
(b) except as authorized by this Act;
(c) unless written consent to its use has been obtained from the person to whom it is prescribed;
(d) except for a prescription that permits the consumption of drug by a child or prescribed class of persons;
(e) excluding a prescription specified in paragraph (d). 2013, c. 3, s. 38.
Written consent
(2) A person who is at least 18 years of age and who requires a prescription for drug, device, cosmetic, after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption may give the drug, device, cosmetic, diclofenac doc generici 75mg after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption in accordance with the prescribed requirements if,
(a) the Diclofenac 100mg $125.17 - $0.35 Per pill person has written consent to the prescription from at least one of the following:
(i) the person's doctor;
(ii) a health care practitioner of prescribed class specified in the regulations to whom person has brought the drug, device, cosmetic, after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption and whose professional services the person will be paying fee set out in clause 71 (1) (a);
(iii) the Minister;
(iv) the Registrar; and
(v) the nurse practitioner. 2013, c. 3, s. 38.
Prescribed requirements, etc.
(3) A person who gives consent under clause (2) (d) shall provide the prescribed information in respect of the drug, device, cosmetic, after-drip lozenge, elixir, gel, lotion, ointment or other thing for human consumption. 2013, c. 3, s. 38.
